Same bullets going the same speed and much less recoil?

My rifle weighs 9 lbs. 10 oz. The barrel is .675" at the muzzle, in between the magnum sporter and lightweight varmint. Very pleasant to shoot in comparison to the other 270 magnums that I have shot.

My current loading in my kimber 270 win is 60 grains of h4831sc. The velocity is close to 3100 fps with 130 grain bullets. I have some RL26 that I will try out after the hunting season is over. It will be interesting to see what I can get out of the 24" barrel.

If you combine the two you end up with a 30-06, right? Lol. All jokes aside there both great, I like the 308 myself but that’s only personal preference.
