What is "truncated"... Flat point, bare lead, HP, LRN, RN?... I used a fmj round.
Round in question is essentially flat point fmj (Winchester # Q4255). Mine runs just fine with standard round nose fmj

Hey Curtton,
Take it apart and turn it around...you've got it in backwards.
You've got the pin on the correct side though.

I wonder how it would shoot without the rate reducer in??
My Cz 380acp skorp doesnt have one and that shoots just fine, might attempt to see how it runs without it.

I don't think it would make much difference it was made for FA controlability. in Semi the bolt comes back slightly slower with the rate reducer but not by enough to be noticable.
Have you tried it yet??
I may try it next time when i am at the range
I may try taking it out as well, but it will go right back in. It came that way from the factory and that's the way it will stay.
its kinda heavy for a pistol .
normally i would agree with you but in this case why carry dead weight ?
It may sound stupid but, if this only came in a pistol version as it does it most of the U.S. I wouldn't have purchased it. I like it because it has the wire stock and will probably never shoot it as a pistol. Just my 2 cents.
