Well, just before x-max i have placed phone call few place in canada to buy surgeon action, 3000$+ and few month to whait IF possible to have them, i was not satisfied of this answer SO,
I have importer it my self with the canadian form online, filled the DSP-83 and END USER, Purchase order and exactly 32 day's after i have began, the action is here, below 1500$ even with the canadian money being poor, humm, find out why !!!

I would like to know for the lucky that get this Surgeon, repeater SA in canada, how much they paid and how long they whait please

Great looking action! Well worth what you paid for it but not $3000 asking price in Canada. Guess some want to be well paid for their efforts at importing.
Just goes to prove that an individual can do it.
 
Good for you Sendero. well, all the dealers in canada that carry them will say. the dollar isn't good and we have to pay a fortune for our import fees. tell me another story.
 
Is there a way to UPLOAD 2 PDF file ?? i can put the 2 form, DSP-83 and END USER that is required for the import, the other is a link to canadian web site that you just fill and within 5 day's, you get all your canadian papers, if it can help, and some are interested it will post it

I love it, i hear it from everyone. do you people not realize what these things are worth before you buy them from the manufacturer? obviously they are not worth $3000 not even worth $1500 for that matter. They probably cost less than $200 to make(think about it). if someone else can get these from the manufacturer, sell them and still make hundreds $$ why can't our canadian guys. it's called price negotitions. s
Sorry to sound so harsh but i'm sick and tired of the run around. We get screwed at every corner. I don't understand it all but the $$ figures don't lie.

Where IS the secret ?? there is no secret here, i even have no intention to jeopardize the job of ANYBODY here but, i REALLY DON'T like when someone think that i'am a dumb a$$... at 1800$ + taxes, i would have bought this action, 300$ profit is not bad no ??

the question is just HOW MUCH IS TOO MUCH ??, i have read the post about the Pmag too, 40$ is OK for me, questar was right, Ian Robertson is a AWSOME guy to deal with, RICK at ATRS is EXCELLENT too, but too many people don't take customers here seriously and the firearm market is very hard in canada so WHY. How many NEVER receive a e-mail reply from canadian supplier, homany have been answered a high price and LONG delay in shipping just not to have to do the job !!! in life, you have to step OUTSIDE your confortable circle if you whant to have something.

To me, a 5$ order is just as important as 2000$ one, i have a little buisness, i'am working for big a one too, and the purpose of a buisness is to make money, BUT what is best, 100 order at 10$ profit each or no order at 1000$ profit each ??

If i can help someone built his dream rifle because i have been frustrated by a canadian supplier for too much lightyear whaiting time and 3 time the retail price, i'll do it anytime.

I REALLY thank's ALL our canadian supplier that take care of the canadian buyer, there is a lot, i just hope it will kick the very few remaining ones...

So here is the way to go :

Action is from The biggest part seller in USA

1- Go to www.exportcontrols.gc.ca
2- Left click on “ Export control online” (EXCOL)
3- Click on "Go to EXCOL"
4- Click on English
5- Apply for "International Import Certificate".
6- Accept Privacy statement
7- Complete application - make sure to click each tab on the top of the page and complete the details.

Then, fill the 2 form HERE
DSP83 FORM

AND include a hand written PURCHASE ORDER and BINGO, send all that where YOU buy the stuff and they have EXPORT PERMIT

this will get you to the application for an IIC that you can make on-line (basically, it is just an inkjet form that transcribes your info... it is not a "permit" per se)

You may also may be required to submit a formal written purchase order with details of your physical address and contact information
