Accuracy on the island is different than that of the mainland. It's not the shooters fault, it's all the heatwaves caused by all the Starbucks coffee shops creating distortions and false parallax at ranges over twenty yards.

Well I just finished up 25 cartridges. .308 brass necked up, CCI primers and IMR 3031 powder, 5 shots each going up 1 grain at a time. One of these years I'll get out to the range and give it a rip.

In the mean time, it's cold in there. Gotta keep my feet warm.

just got back from trying some test loads in my Sako with the 215 grain Sierra GameKing. With H4895 I got up to 2645 fps. I will load some more up and test for groups next time. Also tried some 185 TSX @ 2700 fps over 46.5 grs H4895, shot around 1.5" 5 shot @ 100y.

Shooting prone out the back of my truck in some gravel pit..gun range is still closed
