I bought a reamer and was planning on making a couple savage bbls but have not got to it yet.
Sounds interesting. Will Savage bbls fit a Marlin XS7? I've heard they use the same bbl nut.
You shouldnt have a problem finding a Ruger Hawkeye in .338F.
Anyone still producing rifles in this caliber? There was a number of them a few years ago, but not so much anymore--unless I'm missing them.
I just read an article in 'Canadian Firearms Journal' about the DPMS Panther Arms LR-338L. An 'AR' type rifle built as a big game rifle .... I was rather intrigued and went looking ..... seems Wolverine carries DPMS, but not this specific rifle .... maybe they'd order it in. I better go check the piggy bank
