What exactly are you getting at? (serious question) Do you mean to say that the rings are sloppy/loose on the rail, or that they do not hold the scope snug enough? What else (about the rings) could be causing your POI to deviate from you POI from shot to shot? You guys are pros, I am a noob. Isn't this pretty basic? If rings are not secure to the rail and if they do not hold the scope tight, what use are they? Do companies really sell rings behave in this manner???
I prefer to use Vortex/Seekins rings. They are just as strong as Badger or Mark4 without the ugly nut to snag on stuff. edit; Available at prairieguntrader in Avonlea Sk.
... Although rare it is possible for scopes to slip in the rings under recoil (not holding the scope tight enough)... when mass producing anything mistakes can occur...
Yes I think Im going with Voretx, Prairie Guntraders only has medium, I need .92 low rings. I know ATRS has a set as does OST.
Cheers!!
Dave's Surplus and Tactical has Vortex 34mm low rings. Grab a 34mm Vortex bubble level too! I like Vortex's bubble levels over all others.
