I have a Sako 75 in .340 Weatherby that I use for Moose hunting. Think of it as a .338 WinMag on steroids. Flat trajectory and high energy rounds are usually one shot drop kills at 300 yards +.Anybody have experience with Weatherby's 340 magnum. Just looking for opinions good or bad. Thanks
Cabelas usually has the 225 grain Swift A-Frame Weatherby ammo on sale for about $70/box every summer.
You might want to consider a scope with extended eye relief, you will know it when you pull the trigger. Good luck.
