I would ask Woodleigh, but I believe that the ogive is a bit long to seat the bullet deep enough to function in a lever rifle like the Marlin. If you have a bolt gun, you would be OK, but IMO that bullet may be constructed a bit too heavy duty for the 35. I have some 225 WL, and wanted them for my 350 RM, but seating is an issue. I found some 220 Speers for my 35 Rem, never even considered using the 225's in it.
I just checked, the 225 WL seats at 2.600 min, too long for a Marlin.
I also have had problems finding bullets, so I bought a mold and will be shooting cast shortly. LEE now sells a GC bullet mold, looks like the cats butt for the 35 Rem. i went with the RCBS mold.
