35 Whelen twist rate

I bought one of the SF Remington's.Only shot 225 acubonds so far.My last one sure likes the 225 Bear claws.of course they are hard to find.
Feel good,recoil is less then expected.It is lighter then the 22-250 SF,must be the big hole in the barrel.

I found the 225gr AB's to shoot very well also in the M700's. Last time I found some TBBC's I bought all 3 boxes....... Still sitting on em

Yup!

The Whelen is a good performer with 225-250gr loads. No real need for anything heavier IMO

Reloder15 is the powder for the 35 Whelen. Very good results with IMR4064 when no Re15 could be found. Also good results with W748.

I liked the 250gr Barnes X bullet at ~2400 fps - elk slayer. That bullet has been discontinued and now use the 250gr Swift bullet.
