350 Legend

Does anyone know about the ballistics of the 350 legend out of a short barrel. 12 to 14.5 inch?? I have been looking around a little. I'm thinking an mra renegade in 350 legend with a short barrel like that would be the cats meow in our island timber

realistcally it should be the same as any cartridge with cut barrels in the realms of 25fps per inch is it not?

so do the math of published data an subtract 25fps for every inch you wanna run..........................

You wont be disappointed with 180gr. Its standard issue in our camp.
Its a crusher. That one bear we got in October at 100yds ran 5 yds and did a somersault. dead
Complete passthrough on a 250lb bear. If it goes through bear it'll sail thru a deer and it does.

If you can find a modern sporting rifle (semi auto) in 350 legend for sale in Canada, I would buy it.

Bolt action wouldn't interest me, I tried that with the 450 bushmaster and others but always ended up keeping the modern sporting rifle and selling the bolt

Go to youtube and search 350L semi. There were a few early ones bu they had issues.
Look at a year old video and check it out. Not sure who is doing them but they are everywhere down in the US.

We have 14 tree stands on our 400 acres. That short little barrel on my Ruger is damn comfortable up there.
I was just talking to my buddy who also uses 350L at our camp just now.
He says he's gonna upgrade to 400L when it comes. I said why?
He said it's so boring shooting a 5.56-like recoil rifle and watching 250lb deer drop on the spot. LOLOL
He's dropped 3 in 3 years....
To each his own. BTW I just heard it won't be till mid year when the 400s show up in Canada at best

Well it looks like I'll be going with the howa 1500 mini in the 350 legend, this short barreled rifle should work well for the heavy thick cover parts of my farm.I've been using an A7 in 6.5 for the longer fields and open bush sections of the farm but its getting to heavy to lug around on my tired old back,I,ll be ordering my late xmas gift later today, thanks for the input

360 buckhammer when the 350 legand fades away there will still be 30-30 brass for reloading 360 buckhammer.
or just get her a 30-30.

No worries on 350L goin' away in the near future as it be a cartidge for bolt & semi auto rifles.
For lever action rifles though, the 360BH would suit me dandy in a Rossi R95 Trapper.

Cheap, made from raw 223 brass, fits in AR mags, lots of cheap guns for it...

Yeah it aint goin anywhere.

Went into my crappy tire yesterday.
They had 14 350L in stock and maybe 3 up front when i was there in October.
Sold out. Dude said they were his topp seller in November.
Interesting but not surprising since he was selling the cerakote XPRs for 500 bucks and a couple mossberg for 400 bucks.
Tell me where you get a subMoa new rifle for that and 30 bucks a box....
Stock up on ammo while you can....
