I would agree. My two Uberti 1873’s are wonderfully accurate. I paid $1800 each about four years ago. One in .357mag/.38spl and the other in .45 Colt. So probably outside your price range. But build quality far above the Rossi and Henry. These are legacy lifetime firearms. Personally, I wouldn’t touch a Henry. I had the dreaded magazine failure and associated heartache trying to remedy that. The Rossi ‘92 I own is decent and accurate, but has its own issues.

I think the OP has chosen the proper caliber. The .357mag/.38spl is a great plinking as well as hunting round. So easy to load for and so many component choices as well as brass aplenty. The 1873 might not be everyone’s cup of tea though. The ‘92 is a different animal compared to the toggle link action.
