.357 magnum and the stupid guy

You bought a gun and didn't know anything about it?

I believe that makes you part of the........problem.

:bsFlag:

Did I buy it to carry on a daily basis? No, we can't do that. Do I assume I'll take it out of the box and be a pro on it? No, of course not. If you think my buying a gun that can only be used at an accredited range without studying the whole manual inside out before buying it, makes me part of the problem, then I guess I am. I do know the only reliable safety any gun has between the ears of it's user. Nice sig line, only a liberal would think one more legal restricted firearm is part of the problem. I made a mistake, I admitted to it, and thought the matter was settled, but I guess you wanted one last kick, well thank you, really put me in my place :jerkit:

Frankie says RELLLLLLAAAA###XX.

Congrats on the G21. It's a nice weapon that I'm sure will serve you well, with or without an external safety. ;)

P.S. All Glocks come with 3 "trigger safeties" so you are not completely wrong. With that being said, the only real safety is keeping your damn finger off of the trigger with one of thoose. Oh, and also, the slides are made of ceramic so you can easily get them through airport security stages NO PROBLEMO.

Correct me If I'm wrong, but wasn't that only the legendary glock G8 that was made entirely of plastic and ceramic. I'm pretty sure the firing pin on the G21 is made from metal of some nature, so depending on the sensitivity of the detector. I just can't wait to hear my tupperware gun burp when I insert the magazine :p

when i originally saw the video i was shocked.
then i questioned.. "am i over-reacting?"

obviously not.

i think i was more offended by this idiot - if only for the sheer fact that when he eventualy ####s up.. it will me that the anti's will be coming after.

Dude - he is still f$%^ing with you. Your Glock, my Glock and everyone else's Glock has a metal slide. I would recommend against trying to take it on a plane.

First off the guy in the video is a total moron, full stop. BUT….regarding loaded guns in the house. Personally I can’t believe that the Government dictates to us how we store our own property in our own residence. IF it were legal I would have a loaded pistol between my box spring and mattress pushed in about 3 inches, I would put in the safe when I left the house. As it is I have a SOG dagger there instead.

I don't see why. Over the years I've bought lots of guns I didn't know much (or anything) about because I wanted to see how they worked. As for the guy in the vid, even stupid people have to protect themselves (unfortunately not from themselves, but oh well). - dan

The first reactions of "OMG, he has a loaded gun" are thanks to our Canadian brand of brainwashing, where any loaded gun is a bad gun. OK, the part where he point the barrel at the camera is too much.

My parents lived in Dallas and for 20 years they had several loaded revolvers in strategic places in the house. (No kids in the house). The only "safety feature" was a brown paper lunch bag. The bag disguises the gun but allows you to rip it or just grab and shoot without taking the bag off.

Whenever I went to visit, it really seemed strange for the first few days, after that, it was quite natural. No different than a smoke alarm or fire extinguisher.

I would begin shaking my head at how useless an unloaded, trigger locked, vaulted, gun would be.

Guns don't go off by themselves....

I have slept wiht a loaded firearm within reach, many times, and I'm still around;)

Ok...I get in sh#t for saying on CGN that I ordered a sight from the states because I may have broken a US export law..........and there is people on here sleeping with loaded guns.......or saying they have with no other explanation.....

I thought we couldn't discuss illegal activity?

I have one loaded gun in the house, no kids, and the dog hasn't figured out how to fire it.
At the risk of offending the glock folks, A safety is something you have to manualy push on or off, not something in the middle of the trigger. Yes, I did once own a glock. I traded it off because of that.
As for the clown on You tube, I was just waiting for him to accidently fire it. If he was holding it in front of his camera, you can bet he was looking through the viewfinder or at the screen on the cell phone!

and now you pull the hammer back like this........ boom- ok i know it's a double action, but look at HOW MANY TIMES HE PUTS HIS FINGER IN THE TRIGGER GUARD

I don’t know if the cameraman was behind the targets or not, but I counted a couple of times where our “somersaulting” shooter swept the cameraman. Scary stuff!
