.357 vs .44 mag vs .45LC

I have a 357 and 44 mag. I like how cheap the 357 is but to knock down steel target the 44 does it better. Reloading for them is very pleasant and easy. I have no hunting experience with those two.

I picked up a 44mag single shot rifle recently and I think out to 100 yards or so I have enough energy for deer. Haven't shot it yet but once spring gets here I get it sighted in, run it through the chrono and see what it can do.

I have both .357 and .44 mag I prefer the .44 for deer or bear hunting the .357 is great for plinking and will do for deer at reasonable range if you reload light loads in the .44 work fine for plinking

Which pistol Calibre rifle would be better to get for hunting/plinking? .357/.44mag/ 45LC.

Tagged a buck at 80 yards with my 12" barrel Henry Big Boy 44mag with a 240 gr pill on opening day 2017. Handloads @ 1354 fps.

As mentioned above you can run 44 Specials for plinking.

If you reload 45lc. Can plunk powderpuffs for fun and load up some really serious loads for game. As long as we're talking modern firearm.

I don't own one yet, but would love a lever gun in 38/357
that way I would need only 2 guns. A revolver and a rifle.
