375/338 cartridge dimensions

SC, you wait several years, and you stil haven't got a stock yet?:runaway:
I have one here waiting to go on. :)

What are you thinkin' for a stock, Wood or Synthetic? What's the barrel length?
Stock is one of those older B&Cs with the integral sling attachments. They are great stocks for big bores as the comb is wide and straight and has a huge footprint on the butt end. I got it for a song.

Right now the bbl is 24", but I am going to have 2 or 3" cut off.

Paul, I fired some 350 gr. Rhino bullets from my Taylor on the weekend. With 63 gr. 4320 they shot about 1" at 2410 fps. Recoil wasn't bad at all. I see you are about ready to go.I have about 35 different loads for this one. Cast shoot better from the 375 Taylor than the 416 Taylor. Neat little rifle. Mark

And I just saw that rifle over on the other site there, and you're right, it's certainly to my tastes. Is that guy in the US or here in Canada?

Wow right on Paul! I'm envious. And thanks for the links. You found a stock for your beast yet?
I have one of those older B&C fiberglass stocks here, one the ones with the integral sling loops right in the stock. They are kinda ugly, but it fits me very well, has a nice, thick/straight comb and a huge footprint on the butt end. It will be perfect for a 375.

I am off to Calgary for a month. I sent the rifle and stock out ont he weekend for bedding and new recoil pad. I hope to get to shoot it when I get home in May.

That feller is in the States.
