I'm in the 375 club now! I snagged a 375 ruger stainless Hawkeye off the EE last week. I put together some mild loads and shot some water filled beer cans the other day. I'm pretty happy so far.

Congratulations on your NEW KING!

Thanks Gate... The only thing that makes me unhappy about it is... Me having this one, means someone else doesn't have one anymore....

Don't sweat it...the original owner probably upgraded to an H&H.
Speaking of the H&H...I may have just added another one to my stable, despite my best intentions to reduce my gun collection. I recently purchased a lovely Weatherby Vanguard in .375H&H, not for myself but rather as a Christmas gift for an unworthy family member. My wife is now leaning towards not gifting him with a gun, so this one may come to live here permanently. It's a Dangerous Game version, with the nice B&C stock and upgraded sights, and of course the excellent trigger that comes standard on all S2 Vanguards.
All I need to do now is mount a scope and put a few rounds through it, maybe put a tiny ding on it somewhere, so that it's no longer "new" enough to act as a gift in her eyes. Pictures perhaps to follow...
Anyone be so kind as to find a link to the 375 bullet test?

My pics are all f’up since the photobucket debacle. I’ll try to find some time over the holidays to repost them.

Thank you, am looking for new bullets to play with this winter.
I have a 375 H&H and a 375 CT and a small selection of bullets to play with in both. Part of that selection I have yet to try are some I picked up from Matrix Ballistics Ltd. I'm not sure if Matrix is still in existence but the ones I have are a 270gr bonded and a 300gr FBRN bonded.
UPDATE:
Just did a quick check of the Matrix website. It appears that the new owner presently only makes bullets in the following diameters, in both target and hunting;
- .243
- .264
- .277
- .284
- .308
If so, it's too bad as their product and quality are top of the line.
Let's see a picture of that CT Johnn! I love how that rifle looks.
I haven't, yet, made 'arrangements' for posting photos after the
Sorry bud, best I can do at the moment
