.375 H&H - What do you think

By that reasoning the bolt on my Mauser pushes the cartridge into the chamber, so I guess it's a push feed too! It also holds them in a very controlled fashion while its pushing.:D

If guys spent a bit of their money on one .375 and the rest on plane tickets, they would get a lot more hunting done.

50 rifles won't get you any closer to a buffalo or kudu.

No truer words. I'm selling my 50 starting now! Wait, wait, I'm set up to reload every one! All that reloading stuff will be sitting around just making me feel guilty. What to do?;)

I totally agree, in fact I am selling off a few guns for that very reason. For people like me who's main interest is hunting that is sound advice, for people who just like to shoot maybe not so. I certainly know a few guys with safes full of unused guns who claim they can't afford to go hunting in Africa.

I'm on both sides. I have more guns than I can shoot, but the second I can't afford a trip there'll be a long ad in the EE. Holidays are the limiting factor now.

The bitter reality is that in order to do something twice, there is something else that I won't get to do at all. Sometimes that's worth it, sometimes its not.

I get it, for me hunting isn't something I do with my wife, but golf is.

We will spend 3 weeks in Palm Springs later this winter relaxing and playing golf. I will hunt whitetails with my son and his girlfriend come November.

With one touch of a button, scope, rings, mount, base all are shed and you are down to express sights.

Here is the rifle in a remote fired hydraulic Hyscore Dangerous Game sled.

Is the button the trigger?

Good call on the remote fired dangerous game sled. If I were shooting dangerous game I think I'd want to do it remotely too.
