375 platforms ?

Here's my 375 Sako 85 Kodiak. Nice rifle (just a little bit shy on bore diameter ) -

I owned a browning x bolt for a while. Wasn't my cup of tea, had a detachable magazine and in my opinion was too light for the 375 h&h.
I have since replaced it with a winchester 1885 safari.
Neither offer you anything in a stainless.

Father has a sako 85 in a stainless synthetic. I personally do not like this gun and would much prefer it sitting in a good wooden stock.

Then of course there is always Remington.......I have a SS 700 and I believe they still make them, I saw a Vanguard in stainless, not sure about availability of those at this minute.
I have done a lot of hunting and shooting with my 700 and she has absolutely never failed me, in any way at all. It shoots 270 TSXs into less than an inch at excellent velocities and kills everything I touch the trigger on, right up to and including hippos, crocs, lions and more.

The rifle you see in the photos has been changed somewhat...it came in a synthetic stock which I was able to convince the store keep to swap me for a CDL stock off a 300 RUM and (I had to kick in an extra $50) and I put a PT&G Oberndorf bottom metal assy on it just to add a bit of weight and class. It has a Zeiss Diavai 1.5-6X42 30mm tube scope with the 1 piece Leupold base (again to add a bit of weight) and Leupold rings.

That's my "working" 375 H&H, and she's done a fair bit of "work" and travel. She's very familiar with several sub equatorial African countries, as well as the equitorial rain forest of the Congo.........

I keep the front sight on it to keep it from slipping out of my bloody hands if it ever has to be used as a club..................Dire circumstances indeed..........

Not a stainless but my fav is a Sako Bavarian but I swapped out the stock and dropped it into a laminate with a grind to fit recoil pad. I bought it for the iron sights and trigger. The walnut was pretty but too light for the recoil, and the hogsback design was much too low for shooting with an optic. It is a phenomenal shooter.

The Bavarian is mechanical artwork. I've had the pleasure of firing one. Very fine balance and the set trigger is the coolest feature.

Too nice of a rifle I think to get soaked in the rain so I opted for the Kodiak because when I go hunting I don't let the rain stop me.

Too bad Remington doesn't make a stainless SPS in 375magnum. Cut it to 22" and drop it into a better stock and you'd be GTG.

Model 70 stainless classic. Sights removed, barrel turned down and cut to 22". I have a McMillan for it but it's very light and shoots so good I don't want to mess with it.

Not me ....... Irons offer nothing over a good low powered scope.

No flame, just sayin'. :)

Not me I have love hate relationship with scopes
But vary fond of irons what's not to like weatherproof sights is very important when you live in the rainforest scope suck when it's raining, snow or hunting in tall wet grass on the beach

You need to venture off your archipelago.

I know its not stainless or controlled round feed, but the weatherby vanguard is available in .375 H&H I know the iron sights on the one I handled seemed very useable. For the price it seems like an easy way to get yourself into a medium bore. Now if only I could convince myself I don't want a .338 or .358 magnum more.

Yes I get this. If not rain or snow here then fog.
Scoping up though having 56y/o eyes is a pain. Low power scope though and qd mounts is where I am headed
