.375 purchase assistance required

I have shot mostly lighter bullets so far - 235gr Speer, and 225gr Hornady. I hunt in northern Alberta and have found the light bullets adequate for this task, yet with light recoil.
I have become a huge fan of the Accupoint scopes on my hunting rifles, and strongy considered the 1-4 with a 30mm tube, and if I spent more time in Africa may have gone that way. I decided however, that the extra magnification would come in more handy than the 1x and 2x for where I hunt. Also the 3-9x40 is lighter.

First off, Bowie, that's a gorgous Sako! I've always been fond of the Brown bear model myself.

And secondly, C-FBMI, I am not a fling-wing driver. I live by the words of Ricky Bobby and I like to go fast! Flingwings are too slow. Besides, if they ever let me fly one I wouldn't get any work done I would just go exploring and probably get fired.

No sir, I fly fixed wing, where the whining of our Pratt/ Garret( especially garret) engines can be heard far and wide. But not as far as the pilots who fly them ;)

As far as 375's go I still love the CZ 550 Safari Classics!

That's the reason rotary flying pays so well, "Oh! Another fishing hole, they won't miss me for 1/2 an hour... Oh, another fishing hole!"

He's popular in rotary circles, for some reason and I hesitate to say this, but especially "Dear #####". Perhaps we relate to the over-compensation. No, I do believe that's fixed wing, I started in fixed wings proud to share my chosen profession, and transitioned to the relative shame of being a rotary driver in the north. Up here you don't usually share that you're a heli driver, as most are kiwis, drunks, idiots, or arseholes and often all the the above! At least I'm told! And blue oval I kid and shoulder punch, there's only twice as much wrong with fixed wing drivers as rotary.

Yep! Well do I remember our pilot, John Blanke, setting the Hiller 12E down of the bank of the Fishing Branch River in Northern Yukon, ...or was that the Babbage? ... Wait, 1977, the Belle?....the Eagle? No, it was the Firth. That's it, it was the Firth, and the pools were full of brilliant char in full spawning colour!

Actually, they all had fish in them! :dancingbanana:

Thought I'd best come clean and get in the first 'swing' before Ted does. My resolve to curtail my firearms purchases for the year has fail, again. In line with this thread, I have another 375 on the way to a new home:d:d.

I've adopted a 375 Chatfield Taylor from SuperCub. Should do for Yukon 'Boo' or Moose:d:d.

;) Don't talk dirty Laugh2. That'll be something I'll take care of when it arrives.:) Part and parcel of the first days ;)fondling and intro to the 'harem'. I jumped the gun a little but nothing shabby with SuperCubs photography so for the time being, I 'borrowed one of his.

'Looky', you're right on the wood pile. The only downside of my deal with SC is while he was shovelling 6+ feet of the white stuff', here, yesterday afternoon the sky was clear and it was about +14 and I mowed the lawn for the third time.
