My buddy is still loading his website up, you can check out the intro website at howtohunt.com and the howtohunt Facebook page has a few video clips already.

I have put 2 bears down with my 375 ruger this spring.
Sofar I am very happy with the 300g sierras. Puts them down hard and no meat damage.
Matter of fact I think I will go fry up some bear for breakfast

Now, that's a manly breakfast!

The 9.3x62 has been doing everything the .375 Ruger does for 100 years prior, and all with that understated European "je ne sais quoi" that the Americans can't seem to grasp. It's much like comparing an American muscle car with a European sports car, no class, no elegance, no sophistication, just brash power and not much else.........and that's all I have to say about that! :)

Well Then ! Us 375 H&H could same the same over your 9.3 X 62 Because the 375 H&H Really is the TRUE KING ! and a way more CLASSY cartridge then that metric thing is ! JMO :D RJ

As an owner and user of all four objects alluded to in this post I'd have to say there is some real world merit to what GS is saying.............but there is another analogy that I think is more appropriate, it's called the Jeff Gordon Syndrome. You really can't knock the ability of either one, it's just really hard to like either one, due to the personalities involved.:p;)

One could argue that the .375 H&H has comparable pedigree to the 9.3x62 as it's distinguished Anglo counter part.

It's like comparing a German, English, and American hunter. Here let me provide a visual.......
Classy, sophisticated, and then there's.........boorish......

Funny. :)

Also illustrates why the New King has been such a huge success. In Europe, hunting and shooting are very exclusive. It's not like here, where every man can hunt if they choose- and there are way more Average Joe hunters than Lord Plus Fours hunters. The Ruger puts a rifle in the hands of every Average Joe if they want it.

And let's face it- not too many people on this thread can afford one of those brand new sports cars, but most could buy a vintage. American muscle car if they wanted to. ;)

You know GH, you could have an amazing career in politics, you can "SPIN" almost anything to create a positive outcome for your position. You really should look into it..............you call a mediocre following a "huge success" and you say a $100,000 Camaro is within the reach of the average North American.............You sir are a super spin doctor, without a doubt...................

Now that's what I call a really polite, diplomatic way to put it.....

The NEW KING far surpassed Rugers sales projections and with half a dozen gun makers offering the chambering in thier rifles, it is selling very well for 375's. So yes, that's a real success story.

There are lots of vintage Camaros in great condition available for $20-30 K. So it's affordable if someone wants it.

But the most important part of my message is- once again- that the NEW KING is available for all....
