just wondering what options there are for 380 handguns have't seen too many

Depends on whether you have 12(6) or not...

Personally, in the 12(6) realm I wouldn't mind a Colt Mustang or a minty Colt 1908 pocket in .380 ACP for starters... ;)

RESTRICTED .380 auto`s ....1922 browning, walther pp with 106mm barrel, Beretta 86 ( good luck finding one though), and a High Standard ?? cant recall the model # there was one of these for sale in the ee recently. There are likly sum others as well but these are a few that come to mind.

There are plenty available in the 12(6) class.

There's always the Sig P230 with an extended barrel. Rare, but I'm sure you can find one. There's one out there for sale as we speak.

i'm thinking about buying the 3000 Tactical Black sphinx seems like a awesome gun anyone try it?

I have a FN 1922. Fun little gun. :)
They're not very expensive- $150-$300 depending on condition. Parts are still available too.

I picked mine up from RT here on the board and love it.

I don't know if they have any left but tradeex had some mags on sale for $15

I spoke with a fella from Tradex at the gun show this past Sunday. He said he thinks they're out of mags. I think Marstar has some though.

There are also longer barreled Colt 1908s, Numrich used to sell the barrels. I have an original (plus a couple extras in 32, one with a spare 380 barrel), very nice handling little guns. The PPK was available in 380 (have one of those as well), but you need an extended barrel to make it restricted instead of prohib. Damn commie liberals. - dan

wonder if we could have glock 25's imported here and then have custom barrels made in the US and have them ship the barrels here whos in?

You can not get Glock 25's because they are made for law enforcement only, I think? This topic regarding the Glock 25's have been cover before. I would love to have a Glock 25 too, but it ain't happening.

glock 25's are made for central and south american countries that do not let civilians own military calibers i'm sure we could get them imported if we had the barrel taken out i don't think glock would restrict the sale of there firearms like that so if i think the reason we don't see many here is because of the US embargo what we need to do is a get someone to make the barrels then import the actual firearms from a non US country with out the barrels

"Why do you want a 380 auto?"

because its a nice little caliber perfect for plinking at the range
