Hi Folks,

Just wondering if anyone here has heard of a dealer that can get these in...:) It's model KRH-444, in .44 Magnum. Also available in .45 Colt.

The President of our club has one coming. Ordered it from General Gun in Windsor I think he said 8-10 week waiting time.

I think P&D had a 45colt advertised a month or so back.

You know, I think I may have seen that one listed too - now that you mention it.

They've got a new, real "winner" of a salesman at the handgun counter at P&D. I called today to ask about these and he said "I dunno'..." I said "well, should I give you the number and perhaps you can see if they are on order..." He said "No, that won't do much good - not with me." I said "Could you ask someone else?" He replied..."Uh, no. I don't think so..." I thanked him and rang off.

Once Diane hears about this guys customer interaction skills and attitude she'll rip him a new arshole! :D

I really miss Chris M.

Excuse the possibly ignorant question I am about to ask, but why would someone want one of these instead of the 4.2" GP100 that is available?

I am not a revolver guy, so maybe there is an inherent reason this gun is better? Or is it a certain look?

Thanks

Hi Jeff, and yes P&D had one for sale...I thought about getting it, but i am too short of $$$ to even think about it. If you get the one in 45 colt, let me know about what you think about it.
Thank you and good luck in your search.

I usually get an AAA+++ service at P&D.

Hi Yves,

I have always had excellent service from P&D as well. I know they pride themselves on their service, hence my comment...this young feller there will either shape up fast, or be gone. :)

The .45 Colt Redhawk fascinates me...but Id probably get the .44 Mag first as I have a ton of both .44 Mag and .44 Special brass, etc on hand.

That thg looks great to me. I wonder if we will see a small flood of GP100's on the EE from people upgrading to the 44 / 45LC? I definately want one or the other, just not sure which yet.

Depends if you reload or not. If you reload, buy whatever you want. If you don't reload, don't get a .44 Mag. Commercial ammo is very expensive and you cannot take advantage of the incredible versatility of the round.

I owned one... I liked it... it was the first Redhawk I've ever owned.

I've owned several GP100's and I found that in the end I much preferred the trigger on the GP100's (& Super RedHawks) compared to the Redhawk. I also like how much smaller the grip on the GP100 & SRH is.

Sooooo

I sold the Redhawk, got a Super Redhawk and it is in the process of getting the 4.2" chop treatment :)
