Yes it does, we are currently looking into handguards that are compatible. Right now the best option is Midwest Ind. 15" with a .210 upper tang UPC 816537017523. There is also an 18.0" we will be looking into on Monday. If they are readily available we will also offer those.

I think someone already asked this and IRG said if enough interest they will look into it.... I think this is a fantastic idea..and if the savings are there compare to the fully assembled factory 308 this would sale lots.

Anything is possible, but not with currently available parts.

458 socom is usually built on the AR-15 platform, not the AR-10 like this one.

Put the parts together yourself (assume you already have the right tools), plus $25USD shipping for the upper and lower + $25USD shipping for the build kit + 2.5% MC exchange fees + 5% GST and + actual shipping within Canada and you are probably looking at approximately $1700 CAD when it's all said and done.
