The design of your rifle is really well thought out. The open grip should save you from needing a knuckle deflector, and the straight bolt shouldn't wrap the knuckle of your trigger finger. I don't usually use a barrel band sling swivel, preferring the front swivel to be located on the radius of the forend, but that would harm the the pleasing appearance of the short forend and the ebony forend tip of your rifle.
I only have two minor criticisms; first I wish the stock followed the line of the tang rather than rise above it, and the floorplate needs a Mauser style lever release rather than retaining the military button release.
