44 Magnum revolver. Which one to buy?

I have owned a few 44 mags and only own one now, after all the 29's and 629's and redhawks / Blackhawks , I've settled into a smith model 69 five shot combat magnum L Frame revolver , beautiful to shoot and excellent in hand

That one's a beauty. If I was in the market, and could attain permitting for carry in the bush, I'd buy one just like that in 4,5/8's..

(...it be my forever-gun if general wilderness/& ranch carry was simplified in this country)

So far, the Turnball case color was only ever done in this one barrel length. Limited run they did.

Does anyone have the Ruger - Vaquero - 44Mag ? Looks nice enough.

I have an old model Ruger Vaquero in .44 Mag.

Ruger Redawk. Have had them all. Redhawk is what I kept.

Same here.

The only 44 Mag that I still own in the Redhawk.

Haven't had any other. Happy enough with my Redhawk (blued and wood, 5.5" barrel,) not to bother trying another .44Mag handgun until I've shot this one as much as I'd like to (which probably would take more time and money than I'll ever have.)

Will definitely put another plug for the Smith model 29/629 for a frequent shooter 44. But if you want a single action to "go with" your henry levergun then the Ruger Blackhawk or Vaquero is the way to go.

I just got dan wesson 44 mag blued and am in love. Was going with a smith and wessonbut kept getting bit by the handguard frame with full power loads. Some reason the dan doesnt kick as much.its a tank and you can change barrel lengths
