I am having a heck of a time finding load data for 45-90WCF using a 300gr JHP bullet. The gun is a mid year 1906 production Winchester 1886 Express that has the stronger nickel steel barrel. I've got Hodgdon H-335 and H-322 powder to choose from in NOS Bertram brass using Federal match primers.
In playing with this cartridge 60 grains of H-335 looks lost in this massive tube. Looking for suggestions from anybody with experience with this cartridge. Thanks in advance.
