Hey Guys,
I know absolutely zero about reloading...and have only ever bought and shot factory ammo. I have been thinking about reading and learning about what is involved to decide if I want to get into it or not.
I realize there is more than just a cost advantage to loading your own ammo ( ... but just on the cost side of things...could you guys comment on say the ballpark difference between a new factory round of .45 ACP FMJ vs loading your own..if you were to buy all the components ?
When I buy new factory .45 ACP FMJ for example, by the time it lands in my storage closet...it ends up being around $0.50 to $0.55 per round for say American Eagle.....what would it cost me to build my own equivalent round...$0.25 ? $0.30 ?
Thanks in advance
