I have the Super brass and components. I'm just waiting for the rifle. I'm hoping to smash a coyote with it this winter.

Hi folks,

Well finally, I took the time to go to the range and try this weird little beast out.

After a few test shots at 25 and 50 yards, I shot with front rest, from bench, at 100 yards. I used cheap Norinco ammunition. I didn't expect the follwing results...

I had to aim low because even with my scope' elevation screw cranked as high as it could go, I couldn't get close to the point of impact. So I had to hold off. I used three shots to decide on my aiming point; they are the highest on the target. Once settled on it, I fired five shots; three of these are touching one another, the other two are very close to them. I am very satisfied with this grouping! :) I didn't know that .45acp could be that accurate at 100 yards. Oh and the quality of the barrel probably has something to do with it too ;)

Okay :yingyang: , so I've been meaning to post pics for some time now  , and here's some......:stirthepot2:

(The rifle definitely deserves a 3-9x scope, because just using a fixed 4x is criminally selling it short ! )

P.S. Of course Lou is a better shooter !

P.P.S. The rifle is way more accurate than this target gives it credit for; I was "benching" this on a lumpy range-bag !

P.P.P. S. The donor rifle was a No.4 MkI - but it's a Savage....

P.P.P.P.S. I was fixing my "zero" on the nose, before the eyes were shot.
