.45 ACP Shortage?

Sorry but where in this post did you mention or indicate reloading?

When you purchase ammo in a store do you find that it often falls out of the side of a big blue machine in your shop without you leaving the house to get it, or do you find that buying ammo at the store is more of a "had to go to the store and buy the ammo" sort of experience?

See where it states "It just falls out the side of a big blue machine in my shop." :p

Anyways I have (I think) about 200 brass and bullets for .45 ACP but I dont have any reloading equipment to reload it

Man, with .45 it is the only way to go...if you don't plan to do a lot of different calibers or rifle stuff, consider a Square Deal B. You won't save money, but you will drastically increase the amount of shooting you get to do.

When you go to a store and buy ammo, which of the following options best describes your experience?

a) I went to a store and bought ammo

b) I didn't go to a store and buy ammo, it fell out of the side of a big blue machine in my shop

In my experience, going to a store and buying ammo is almost always better described by option A than option B. So if you find someone describing option B, then in my opinion, they are probably not describing going to a store and buying ammo.

Now let's look at a slightly different scenario:

Which of the following best describes making your own ammo?

a) It falls out of the side of a big blue machine in my shop

b) I went to a store and bought some ammo

Again there is a slight but definite trend towards buying factory ammo being more like buying factory ammo than like reloading, and in a possibly related trend, reloading is generally found to be more like reloading than it is like driving to a store and buying some ammo.

Conclusions

If someone talks about the incredibly inexpensive ammunition that falls out of the side of a big blue machine that they have in their shop, we believe that the probability is high that the subject is talking about ammunitions they have made with that machine.

ROFLOL!!

I like how you looked at it from two different perspectives and still came up with the same conclusion. That's some mighty fine analysis there!! :D

Really! That's news to me. Lol. Point was that you didn't say that the cheap ammo you mentioned came from the side of a blue machine in your shop in your original post.

Just quoting my original post here, highlighting as necessary...

just playin' devil's advocate here, but... you said SHOP, not HOME. guess which one is more akin to MANUFACTURING / STORE / RETAIL / SHOP. mmm, i'm-a go wit "shop"?

had you said "... in my home" then that'd be a diff game...

First off he said "MY shop" so he either meant the shop at home or his own store.

BUT that being said how many stores do you know of that dispense ammo out of a "big blue machine"?
