It is NON-Corrosive.

I have not shot any yet, but I have a case of it upstairs waiting for my 1911 Commander.

I also have one of the 1911 & ammo deals on the way, so I will have 2000 rounds & 2 1911's, heh heh heh!!!

Cheers
Jay

It is decent ammo, shoots a little dirty but as was mentioned above, non-corrosive, reloadable brass. I have used it for a while and no real problems not one FTF or other problems so far.

I was just shooting some today, reasonably accurate, a little dirty but good ammo, goes bang every time. For reloading the brass is actually decent quality.

The norinco stuff? I've shot about 8-10 boxes so far through my 1911.

First impression the ammo seems old/dirty.

That being said, it has shot flawlessly, no duds.

It shoots dirty, the whole gun seems to be coated in soot afterward lol.

It seems to shoot on the hot side atleast to me.

Summary: buy it ASAP. I will again.

I would like to adjust my previous response after cleaning my Jericho tonight, this ammo isn't a little dirty, it is really, really frickin' dirty. It looks like somebody was pumping the exhaust of a diesel engine through my gun.

is the brass itself actual good BRASS, or is it some cheap chinese fake-brass, like zinc or tin with yellow paint? would this stuff be a good buy to shoot and keep brass for continuous reloads, or is it more suited for only 1-2 reloads before likely being tossed?

The brass looks to be good quality to me. Nice and thick, very comparable to Federal and Blazer. Just been saving it for now though as it's such a good price I have been putting off starting to reload.

I've never shot any of the factory norc stuff, but the few cases I've reloaded it seemed to have a snug primer pocket which I like, but I don't know how many reloads it can take, I suspect a lot though.

On a scale of 1 - 10 with 1 being equivalent to "light dusty coat dirty" and 10 being "Toothless Street Walker dirty" , hows it rate?

I've probably gone through a couple of crates of Norinco so far. If I use American Eagle as a benchmark at 5, I would say Norinco is about a 7 and reloads from Custom Reloading are about a 3.
I usually give my guns a quick strip and wipe down after each range anyhow so for the price Norinco is great and not much additional effort.
