This has all been great guys,
Clear up a few things, medium sized hands, i.e. I can handle a slightly larger frame, but i found P762 was too big. I reload 45s already, and a stock pile of supplies so cost per round aint a huge factor.
I own a 1911, and i just think plastic is fantastic. I do understand that 45s like a heavier frame though.
And for budget, cheaper is better (im taking something used, but well cared for), Under $600, preferably under $500. Then i can sell the 1911 cover part of it and only be out 300ish.
The M&p45s have my eye, just wondering on the difference in grip size between that and an m&p9?
