45ACP Revolver - Opinion

Buy the Redhawk in 45 Colt, buy a 357 cylinder, have it rechambered to 45 ACP and fitted to the Redhawk, and then you have exactly what you want. - dan

Now that's a great idea! I'm wondering if the two cylinders will be easy to swap out...without the use of tools of course.

If you're interested I saw a 625 (model of 1989) at phoenix range last week in Edmonton for $750. I would have bought it but already have one.

The 625 is a real sweet shooter and you just can't beat the moon clips.

take care,

John

mmmmm I would love one of these 0.45 acp DA/SA revolvers since I already reload 0.45, what is the price range these go for??

I read a post on another site that mentioned a smith in the US who mods a Ruger .45LC cylinder to accept .45ACP/moonclips and still shoot .45LC!
This is the perfect solution. If a smith in Canada could do this, I'd be adding one to compliment my new 4.2" .44mag Redhawk I just ordered:D

I have a 625.. My advise to you is.. don't buy it! tell me where you have found one so I can buy a second!

Seriously, one of my all time favorites!
