I've been doing some research on the .460 Rowland conversion kits, looks like a very peppy little round and in a 1911 to boot. The ballistics are very impressive, the kits look fairly simple to install and reliable, with the added benfit of still using standard magazines and being able to shoot .45 acp (im assuming the recoil spring needs to be changed to a lighter one to function correctly with .45 acp.) Has anybody shot one or done the conversion to one of their pistols? (G21 or 1911) Any firsthand experience is appreciated. Thanks much, Skokie.
