You know what I really love about the pancake is it reasonable price.At S&W its 255$ the pancake 60$ plus 55 for the should chest straps.Mine is on order.Aswell as a nice new thin post front sight.

Looks like I am going to get a chance to try this monster out. apparently with the 500 S&W you can load with black powder not sure if you can do the same with the 460. I imagine you can. I have to check out some load data on this caliber.

I have had a vxr460 for a while, I went to the Hanna gun club last year with my two son-in-laws and let the boys shoot it , the young fellow felt like he had been punched in the nose...............I just love that kind of reaction Yes sir the 460 is a must have

At one time the 5" model was prohibited in Canada... however, it has since been revised and is once again restricted.

Anyone know where I can get a 5" 460V, other than Wholesale Sports, if I mail order ( I'm in Fort Mac) I have to go through Calgary WS, and they suck. I don't even trust that they say that have one in stock, I don't deal with disappointment well so I don't want to order from them, and they don't provide a phone # so you can check if something is in stock. I am hoping to find one at the Easter show in Calgary, and maybe I'll swing by WS and check if I can't find one at the show. Anyone know a reputable dealer in Canada?

Am I the only one comepletely unimpressed with the .460? We can't hunt with handguns up here, so the 200grn bullet's advantage is useless. The old casull gets closer and closer to the .460 when you up the bullet weight. Plus those VXRs, while they look badass they are monstrous and feel it too.

I am totally impressed.We making big holes in paper now and hitting steel at 300m

Wanstalls in Maple Ridge BC has one for $1600, don't know if they mail order. I just saw one for the first time on the weekend while there, pretty big gun.
