Psst. Can we get the Ian Malcolm scientists gif delivered here to the thread please?

I certainly applaud this as a technical achievement.

But if there were clamoring masses demanding for such a mechanical chimera to be conjured from the abyss: I did not hear their cries.

Especially at $2k

Think about the work that went into it. Making and fitting of a 223 barrel on that also the bolt and all of the alignment to make that thing function. It's cool tho I must say. Some well off dude will get it just to say I have one

Kudos to whoever had the time and skill to build such an abomination! Next we wanna see one in a pistol caliber! Perhaps a 7.62 x 25? Lol

Who wants mainstream anyhow?

10 round pistol mags ftw

Now let's see a picture of it with a D-60 in it:

Please tell us more!!!
What barrel did you start with? How did you get it into the sks profile to mount everything back on? Any modification to bolt? What was done to make it feed 223? Did you reuse the original gas system? Anything you think could still be improved?

I've on several occasions entertained the idea of rebarreling the sks, but there were so few people adventured this far to share their insights.
