No, we sourced a very small lot of OEM Alexander Arms .50 Beowulf mags. They were $99.99 a mag. These 3rd party ones will be substantially cheaper. Again, no pre-order until the RCMP agrees that the mags are what they are.

Do you guys know how many you'll be bringing in? It'd be nice if we got enough in the country at once to satisfy everyone so that people don't start scalping them for 200 bucks like the lancer mags. And what do you mean by substantially cheaper? Do you guys have a rough estimate? I bet you guys could bring a couple thousand mags in and be sold out.
 
I really respected your online 'limit' on the AA mags you brought in. I'm sure it's easier for you to sell 20,50,100 to each person but I applaud you for limiting us to allow more people a chance to get the product. This is of course your decision but if you felt there was a possibility of selling out I would respect that decision again.

There is no plan to limit pre-orders.
 
wouldnt that be nice! but there are large profits to be made here, people already committing for $50

To all the scalpers and your supporters (you know who you are): Thanks for bringing profiteering greed to CGN. Don't make excuses like if I don't do it the next guy will cause obviously NR Mag could easy limit supplies to sell these at outrageous profit, the 4x-5x you scalpers were asking for at $200 to $250 a piece for AA mags that were purchased at $50.

It is your right to use CGN as a for profit forum, for purely personal gains, to be known as a CGN scapler. Hopefully everyone remembers next time you ask for help to NOT provide any FREE advice or assistance. In fact let us all be vigilant in demanding something in return; no freebies for these profiteers/scalpers/gougers.

Lol let me guess you never got one. Would you go to a Vancouver hockey game with a sign condemning the scalpers and the people buying the tickets ? Even tho people are happy to pay that to go to the game. People pay what they want. Give it a break. Please.
 
Just a random thought, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't a Canadian company manufacture these magazines, or at least make a prototype for RCMP approval? Or have I not read into the laws and regulations far enough?

Then NR Mag could source them locally and not have to import them from overseas....although I'm sure NR Mag had considered this already if it was an option?

....why do I have a feeling I'm going to get flamed for this....I think I smell smoke already.
 
Also I don't want to get into it because this is not classy having this debate here but you are really calling the whole gun industry scalpers. Notice what's happening across the border and what is filtering here. Now if you want to discuss good business some more (supply and demand) then pm me and I will tell you a story about our current economical system and about stock markets and so forth , other then that like I said its not the right place.

Theoretically yes. Apparently the cost of the forming equipment - dies and machinery - makes it cost-effective only in large batches, which the CDN market will not support. A US manufacturer, already doing good volume, makes minor changes to support the CDN market, making it more cost-effective.
 
Wouldn't call in a free 911 call when I see a ticket scalper tripped and break their nose.
