.50 Beowulf Mags?

I'm on the preorder list and i ordered back in november.

I'll sell my spot #246 for $3000 or a serbu.

Yup. But if you are all so angry about these prices just don't buy the magazines... Seems pretty simple. I myself will enjoy mine at a rip off price.

LOL. I'm not complaining... And I'm not buying them out of principal. I am all for making a buck and if I had extras I'd be selling them for as much as I could get too. I just don't care enough. I am happy loading my mags 5 rounds at a time. It makes the range time last longer and I don't waist as much ammo. When I load up my .22 with 25 rounds its not like I'm aiming really when I am rapid firing.

If I had a need for them like people said they use them for 3 gun, then I would be all over the $250 price. But for me it's not worth it yet and I can wait it out.

FYI: I called Alexander Arms the other day and got a call back this morning. I was going to try and order some from them. They told me the web sales are 3-4 months back ordered. So it looks like I'll have a pile of them at my residence in the USA by about sept..

Here's a question I haven't been able to answer. Will 458 Socom feed reliably in these 50 Beowulf mags? Been really thinking about building a 458 and I need a fix for the mag issue.

What mag issue ? 458 Socom feeds fine through unmodified 5.56 mag. Take a 20rd body and install a single shot follower and reassembly.

A 20 rd mag body will take 7 socom rounds. With single shot follower it will take 5 socom rounds. You don't have to bother pinning mag ! I would put a rivet in floorplate however

Cradles a socom round perfectly

If the gendarme try to put a 5.56 round it just sits on follower. Everyone is happy

I use this mag also when shooting 75Gr Amax 5.56 ( COL too long for magazine )

You posted the same picture 3 times. :)

so my beo mags dont fit 223 which is fine by me because i bought the beo upper. i took the beo mags to the range by accident when i went out with the mini 14 and could get the rounds in the mag nor the mag in the gun....lol

Strange. I just tested out my trio of Beowulf mags last night at the range, I think a few people were jealous I wasn't reloading, lol. They worked perfectly in my ATRS AR-15.

Manufacturer should be churning these out by the tens of thousands if they had any love of buisness, but I suppose that our small but willing market that is craving for this product is not enough to warrant an increase in their pitifully slow production.

Every single owner of a firearm that shoots AR style mags would buy at least one, if not 10 of these if they were priced under $50 and readily available.
