They both feel like your hanging onto a 2x4, so unless you have really abnormally large hands forget about a proper firing grip. The Glock is OK, a no big deal 45 - the DE is like a rollercoaster ride at the Carnival, not only does it recoil, which isn't as bad as you might think, but it torques in your hands. If you're shooting any DE you pretty much need to reload, but especially the 50, ammo costs are immense, even reloading, I'm not sure you'd get the per round cost down to the level of factory 45. If I was looking at a DE I'd get a 44 Mag - light recoil and more than enough power.
