.50AE loaders HELP!!!

Did I read you were not using sizing lube, but oil?

Try some lanolin if you are stuck for lube. Even ivory soap works well (what the ammo plants use)

Well it is technically a lube, it is called teflube. :D It works fine usually, i did all my 223 loading with it, no issues.
I am confident the issue i was having was the junk Lee dies.

Proper lube makes a difference. Teflon based oils are usually considered a no no.

.50AE is a slight taper, harder to size than you would think. As slavex says, good lube makes a difference. I use RCBS spray lube, but any well-known decent lube will work.

As for carbide, $400 is too steep for me, so I keep thinking about a TiN coating from CH4D. Lube would still be needed, but it should smooth the process.

My first set of .50AE dies were Lee.... replaced them with RCBS for the same reason you are going to.
