590 add-ons and accessories

I bought an older m7 bayonet from milarm with scabatd for 45 bucks. Granted the Ontario knives one or the smith &wesson are much nicer but at around double or more the cost this will do for now

"Pistol Grip Stock........Should have bought a Remy if you wanted to use a pistol grip; you lose all utility of the tang safety by putting a pistol grip stock on a Mossy"

And the Remington forces the left hand shooter to remove his strong hand from its grip to operate the safety. Important for some types of shooters.

Bought the last heatshield from milarm on friday and sandblasted and phosphate coated it at work on monday. milarm usually has alot of mossberg stuff.

Found one at Epps and bought it yesterday...came with a Ontario cutlery bayonet. They have one more in stock.

Why are you grabbing the barrel for reloads......I shot the same match....my hands never touched the barrel!

Quite a few times when I turned the shotgun I would brush my hand on the barrel while I was loading the shells. Geoff the president of the club did it a couple of times while I was SOing him as well. I promised not to discuss his girly scream but I can 't help it. LOL I have watched pro 3-gun guys on WildTV reload the same as I do. Weren't you one of the guys from London wearing gloves or are the gloves for something completely different? I would be interested in some pointers if you have any as my time was horrible.

Never mind I just saw your video. Thanks!

Nope don't wear gloves....... as a general rule. Yep, guilty as charged, part of the London/EESA Crew. Glad the Vid helped. All I can say, is that the more time you can keep your strong hand on the shotgun, the faster your reloads, aka. times will be.;)

There is absolutely no time that you need to contact the barrel of the shotgun during a reload, from many different methods.......therefore, a heat shield is added weight, and just there to make the user feel special in that naughty place.......not that there is anything wrong with that:D LOL

They way you guys shot I will take all the advice you give seriously. I think every time I touched the barrel I was trying to reload so fast that my form was horrible. Like they say practice makes perfect.

Great Video!! .....I have SO MUCH to learn....
the upside ?....add a side saddle, and a couple of the belt holders to the shopping list.
