590A1 - Why the wait?

Speedwise….I find the XS sights faster to acquire on target. The "wings" on the factory rear GRS are bit distracting and can block out some of the target. However, they are more robust providing protection from drops and bumps.
fyi…I shoot with both eyes open.
 
Yeah, the XS are really nice, the rear ring is significantly smaller than the one on the A1 though. I like them both, hense why I own both.

As small as the 'far distance' one on an AR15 peep or larger? Is the Blackwater the only model in the A1 line to have these XS Peeps?
 
Not sure, this is my first XS sight. Maybe the pics can help?
Mine are on a Magpul 870 though, but the Blackwater uses the same XS rear sight. I believe the Blackwater is the only 590 offered with XS sights.

They both look pretty good to me. The high visibility red front and larger peep may be better for me. Thanks for the pics.

how do you feel about the 14 inch 590A1, does it kick like a horse?
 
Not sure about a 14"590A1(never seen one) but the 14" 590 I had was very manageable with 00Buck (what my range allows). The same ammo out of my DA Backpacker…now that kicks.

18.5", simple bead, nothing fancy, usually has a standard buttstock on it rather than the pistol grip. No issues hitting what I point it at.

Has anyone tried this shotgun with that adjustable stock? I've read that it is a Tapco... wondering if the Tri-Rail is worth the premium due to having this stock. Tapco T6 for Mossberg:

I guess it's a rare model, but he's using a stock photo, not a photo of his actual shotgun. People like to capitalize on 'rare' items. I can buy (3) bare bones 18.5" 590A1's for what he's asking.

Even if the gun was worth $2000 and he was asking $500, there'd still be a host of idiots sending him PM's and asking if he'd take $400. It's the nature of the EE, the buyers think everything is overpriced and the sellers deal with tire kickers.

If you think the gun isn't worth $1500, then don't buy it. Pretty simple, no? :)
