This was an impulse buy....never knew this rifle existed.
My son and I were in Lebaron and strolled into the gun shop. Saw a SB rimfire with a threaded bbl. Left the store after paying ~$185.00
After mounting a 3-9x scope(found on the EE) and a spare flash suppressor I took it to the range, zero'd it in at 25yrds and ended up putting 200rnds downrange.
Remington 597 ACC-SD 16.5" threaded bbl, synthetic stock.
Good: Rifle feels and looks good IMO. Nice textured stock and weight.
Ate the cheap $$ Win555's without any funtional issues but did have a couple of dud rounds.
Accurracy was very good for a semi-auto RF using cheap ammo @ 25yrds.
OEM 10rnd mags cost ~$10 each.
Bad: Trigger felt heavy for my liking but there was virtually no creep.
Overall: Great plinker at sub $190.00!
Here are some pics taken an hour before range time....
