I would be interested to hear more large game experiences too.
There are plenty of cartridge and gun name get abbreviated.
30-06 Springfield becomes thirty-aught-six
7mm Remington Magnum becomes 7 Mag
6.5x55 becomes 6-5 Swede
Nobody says Winchester or Remington after .308, 30-30, 270, 223
Lots of people seem to get bent out of shape by the word "shotty" but a few times I've heard wealthy, older English gentlemen refer to their very nice shotguns that cost more than a new pickup as a "fine shotty." Say it with an English accent and you will get the picture.![]()
lol I love this thread. By the way, I've been told, on ###beard Avenue in Edmonton (near the U of A) that the clothes (jeans, c/b boots, American Hat Co c/b hat, that I have worn all my life make me a "Lumber-###ual". Finally, I'm stylin. Used to be that plaid shirts and Macintosh wool and anything Filson were just good solid clothes, but now they are a fashion statement.
Back to the 6.5 Creedsomuchmoor. Good cart within (as with all cartridges) it's limitations. I do personally like the 143 ELDX but that is just my opinion.
Good to see there is still room for ppl with a sense of humour on here.
Can you shoot Creedmoor without a shooting mat?
Thanks for the spelling lesson. I corrected it now so people wouldn't think I was asking about a different "caliber."
How do you know someone is a 6.5 creedmoor shooter , oh dont you worry they will tell you
