let me know if u can see 'em, not sure if photo bucket old stuff good or not.

I was originally gonna rebarrel a 700xcr ss 270wsm that I got for cheap like the OP, but it got a little out of hand, lol. Its got all the cool stuff plus got some holes machined in the trigger guard and neat double step recessed crown for fancy touches, fluted barrel etc.

Geez... that is a beauty... well done! I am still waiting on my barrel.

Well, I finally finished the 6.5 Rem Mag, just in time for a goat hunt, it worked just swell with the 140 Accubond... the goat was taken at 430 yards, close to straight up, at least it felt like it to this flatlander! I envy you Rocky Mountain folk, most beautiful country that I have ever seen... although, not particularly hospitable... brutal trek out with a soul-crushing pack. ;)

Right on congrats. Bet your legs told you for a week or two that you had been somewhere.

Legs and lungs were fine, but still have nerve damage in my toes, I don't care how you lace your boots, going downhill for miles with a 100 pounds on your back taint fun... well, yeah it's fun, but you know what I mean... ;)

Simply beautiful! Thanks for sharing.

Got lucky with my 6.5 Rem Mag on a mule buck. 325 yrds.
From a CGN EE brass source all the way to bloody hands, It's great when a plan comes together!:dancingbanana:

Geez... nice rifle and superb buck! Great job... you gotta love it when plans come together.

Had my Bull moose draw, didn't get out much and didn't get the 8mm mag dialed in. was slow and didn't see much till 2nd last day.

All came together after decent stock, got set up and last range was 525 on the bush behind him. Was thinking about leaving with his girlfriend and 3 smaller bulls, felt fairly solid so let him have one.

End result - Hit high lungs 4th rib from back quartering away 45" bull bit under 500yrds, 6.5rm 130gr accubond @ 3175fps. My longest shot, largest moose so far with the smallest caliber, Happy Camper :dancingbanana:
