My m38 shoots 95grn vmax around 1.5 inches, but it likes 140grn a little better
Yep X2.The only complaint I have about the 6.5X55 is I really don't ''need'' another hunting rifle, this one does the job very efficiently
who needs five?...
22LR
25-06 Rem
300 Win Mag
if you really need 5...add a 223 and a 375 H&H
Does anyone have any idea what the rate of twist is in a 1913 Carl Gustov 6.5x55?
Common Barrel Twist Rate - 1 - 7 1/2
K...thanks for the help guys.....
Greg, I've got to get a scope mounted before I take it out. I robbed it off the 6.5 to hang on one of my .22s
He-He! Got a little one when I don't need mits. If you hunt mid winter in Canada you know what I mean!Holy bolt handle!
No problem, I have a few already loaded from shooting in my 6.5, we'll load another 20 rounds or so. I'm going to Spruce next weekend, wanna come?
The swede 6.5x55 doesn't seem picky about ammunition either-I got 10 boxes of Century ammunition years ago and it shoots fine, and nothing I hit with it went far-maybe 20 yards at best. The only complaint I have about the 6.5X55 is I really don't ''need'' another hunting rifle, this one does the job very efficiently
I have to work 9 to 9 on Saturday, and the Daytona 500 is sunday.
We could try for the following weekend?
No, a $5 B-Square. I drilled and tapped it in. Side safety came with it so original was made inoperable.I want details on that scope mount...is it an offset mount?
