Seems a bit of a waste to shoot slow burning powder from a short barrel, and get a huge muzzle blast, excess noise, etc.....Especially when a faster powder will result in a more complete burn, with none of the a fore mentioned side effects.

My older Tikka ( M65 ) has a 20.5 " bbl. and makes awesome groups with loads using both RL22 and H1000.... no problems with noise, muzzle blast and all have a complete burn...
