Not arguing LoL. Shot 90% of my Gophers out of a truck window, if truth be told. Once it's loaded, hanging and pointed out there...kinda hard to shoot anything but a gopher.
So I'm sure as hell not shaking my finger...just saying " This gonna be a thing "
We probably want to stay away from logic and common sense... because if they reigned Supreme, I wouldn't be just shooting 41 LC down by the dugout...be shooting 45 LC too.
Explained that to a lady once... "this Colt here...perfectly fine. This one here...dangerous to society... very bad"

I remember an instance where a couple of fellas were shooting in a gravel pit with a .22 with a scope on it, leaning across the hood of a truck.
shells were sounding a bit strange on the closer shots.Yup, nice creases in the opposite side of the hood!

My high school teacher did that to a really sweet Bronco. He was quite embarrassed as he fancied himself a Skilled Hunter. Someone should start an AD thread...I know a few stories.
Constable R. Youngman... a decent fellow it's said. But he was teaching Hunter safety locally and shot himself in the foot with a shotgun...that's gotta leave a mark!

Fair enough. If people would have read my post (#22) closely they would have realized that I never said I had a problem with anyone, I simply made a comment based on years of actual experience. Never said "all" either, said " a lot", and yes there are good ones.
My son's high school buddy is running the show in Maple Creek...good guy. He didn't wash out of RCMP school...he wanted to be a Game Warden. Good on him.
His same logic is that of the left and they use it to ban guns.... They use the same BS of "knowing injured children" and wanna create a nanny state. Some guys on here seem to "get off" on preaching the regs, wildlife acts, city ordinances and any other rule they can find. They cant make a decision on their own, they need the Govt control to make it through the day.

F & W is a higher level of training and education than police. Every F & W I have met is reasonable and chill, but they apply the laws they are to enforce very aggressively. Speeders drop into your lap, a F&W investigation is time consuming and there is only 70ish officers for the province.
