So will your new Creed 6 be a critter hunter or paper puncher? Never thought much about the cartridge prior to reading this thread, but it seems pretty interesting.
Glad you made the decision. I've been debating with myself on the merits of a 6 Creedmoor or a 22-250AI fast twist. Need to make the decision soon.
I own a 22-250 AI. Good cartridge, but it isn't legal for deer sized game. Except in BC. - dan

It would be legal for deer here in NB as well.
And in Ontario...
I don't even own a 22-250 anymore. Replaced it with a .223 and 6CM. I'd pick the 6 for deer any day of the week over the 22-250.
For deer, I would definitely choose a 6mm over a .22 cal, but I would also choose a 6.5mm over a 6mm... after 6.5mm it does not make much of a difference. I still own a .22-250, but I am a bit of a .22 cal fan.... I currently shoot .22 KH, .222, .223, .22 PPC, .22-250, .220 Swift and am in the process of rebarrelling my shot-out .22 TTH.
Our biggest problem right now is finding bullets once we run out of our current stash.

I am still finding bullets, but can see the shortages coming from low distributor inventories. Fortunately, I stocked up on most calibers that I am shooting... for hunting I could be good for life, but being a range rat, I will shoot my range supply in a couple years.
