7.62 x 39 NEA AR's

Can't wait to get one or maybe 2....

Do some experimenting with corrosive ammo on one upper and normal stuff on the other. See how accuracy, reliability, damage to parts, etc compares.

I would think one could hit the entire upper with boiling water, then shoot solvent down the gas tube. I could see it being quicker to clean than an SKS. I'd probably lube the whole thing with ballistol instead of grease, since it'd flush out with the water instead of trapping salts.

Hell, I'd as soon sell my last 2 SKS to help finance one of these uppers to blow off my crates of surplus in...

Remember, the ARC+ treatment on all the steel is corrosion resistant and the gas tube is steel. No guns have shown signs of rusting during testing with corrosive ammo.

If it is built anything like the 7.5 PDW I just received from SFRC, you will be impressed with the quality.

I'm more than satisfied.

Ryan, what is the twist rate of the barrel.

I used to muck aroung with 7.62×39 Whisper a while back.

It's the exact same rifle with a 2 gill brake.

The x39 uppers are on the website but they are sold out now.

Pardon the 7.62x39 noob here, but I thought the taper on the 7.62x39 casing dictates a more prominent curvature of the magazine? Are there feeding issues when using a standard 5.56 AR mag? Thanks!

Yay! Got the mail alert that uppers are back in stock, just ordered one with a couple XCR 10 round mags. It hurts that a few months ago, I got a whole rifle for near the cost of the upper =)
Not complaining, I'm a happy camper, thanks Ryan!
