7.62x39 Ammo prices will go up again.

Where ? Again people why you are arguing and trying to say that we blow this out of proportion. SKS prices went up. Yes some dealer still have them at lower prices, but there is always supply and demand rule. Supply is low and prices go up. Very simple.
Same with ammunition.
Good that you are onto us maybe some of you will listen and react to price increase. You see it at $240 buy it.
As other member said local shop increased their prices, wonder why? Simple they do order from supplier and supplier increase prices . Shop owner see the increase and increase their prices too. It is a business to them you do understand it.

I would like to know where prices are going down. Please PM me or put it here.
Wars in the world, USD/CAD exchange rate, Availability of this product.
And please do not give me that " There so much was made " AND SO MUCH SOLD AND USED.
I do not see Garands for $100 or $200 but yet there was so much was made..... and shipped to other countries.

SKS's are still cheap, available pretty much everywhere still.the surplus ammo is still around by the ton.sure it goes up a bit,,but so does everything else, you dont need a crystal ball to figure that out,but the same people always making predictions of higher prices or diminished supply in order to drum up sales, never seems to work out to well for them, fact is,SKS riffle arent that much more still.it's just these sellers who keep calling these supposedly "Super Grade" riffles to get more money,LOL."Super" and SKS,should never be used in the same sentence,as for this constant caling of "UN-refurbished" as oposed to refurbs, ALL the SKS's are used, period, all are refurbed to some degree, matching numbers doesnt mean un-refurbished.these thing will be available for a long ,long time.no worries there,i still pick up mint ones at shows for under $200.00 all the time.

So no one took me up on my offer to prove them wrong I guess. Ammo prices went up across Canada for 7.62x39. It is a jump and I hope everyone went to a local store and bought a case before your local gun store or Cabelas or Wholesale got their new price.
Again we are here not to scare tactic you into buying ammo. I always warn people and tell them to go and buy from local store or your body or whoever has ammo at lower price

We love you for your honesty Brother 👍🏻

7.62x39 prices will go up.Nothing catastrophic or out of the ordinary. I'm sure the value of the Canadian Peso doesn't help. I'd bet the price of .22lr has increased more than 7.62x39. Average ammo prices just seem to go up.

I'd guess that the price of all ammo

yup..22LR has DOUBLED.and even more than that on some brands, nobody was screaming to stock up on 22LR then, the OP is correct,7.62x39
ammo will go up,but that's just routine now, nothing crazy to worry about, this #### corrosive crap will always be around, every time sellers start yelling about higher prices,it's always a small increase, then they say the supply will dissappear,,which it never does,so go about your buisness.this stuff will be around for years,

I agree, prices are going up... I have 5K non-corrosive available on the EE... below any dealer cost... if you are in Winnipeg or close by, here's your chance!

I appreciate this dealer's warning... the last time i got a warning like that was from Canada Ammo, guess what happened, I bought 20K rounds and the prices doubled almost over night... take heed people.

Come to think of it, never saw that guy again... hope he's ok or at least got compensation and therapy.

The CANPAR guys don't even try to deliver anymore, I consistently find a pick up slip and no sign of their attempting to deliver.

Guess they figure it's not worth their wage to break their backs, don't really blame them.

At least some people appreciate warning :)

Bought one of those so called non issued SUPERGRADE things for 369 I call BS. I #####ed and got crickets numbers etched on barrel stamped x's on the stock with matching numbers below it. How can they say it's super quality when they don't even take the cosmoline off it. I could go on about the marks but I'll leave at Save your money and go else where.
I bought a Tavor there no prob but that was brand new. They had their chance.

I have been trying to buy as much x39 as I can afford. I've gotten some decent deals but I gotta say the prices have certainly gone up. Used to be a lot of sources for crates around $200 but I haven't seen anything lower than $250 that is within driving distance. Shipping is a killer, one of the reasons I like a certain other retailer and their free shipping policy...
