7.62x39 Bushmaster ACR

Try a couple of five round groups and report back.

And yes, if you've ever owned a higher end ar, you will expect a lot more than putting three rounds into 1.5 moa one time, lol !
Also the xcr is hardly a military firearm, that would be quite a train wreck...

I coyote hunt with it so 3 is way more than enough.
So you'd compare a high end AR with a stock military gun? That's brilliant.

Lol, I know a wee bit about ARs and about shooting bugholes but thank you for the tip.

I came here to read about a ACR and instead got yet more XCR bashing from the usual suspects... How would you guys spend your time if you didn't have the XCR to hate on in every thread?

Nice looking rifle DILLGAF, what sort of results are you getting from it?

I had a NF x32 for a short while on mine, the x24 would be much better IMHO. Something didn't feel right, I had the 16in barrel tho.
pretty amazing scope for sure still.

Military....... what military adopted the design?

Military....... as milspec built for the military.

Sorry that you had accuracy issues with the early XCRs however the XCR keymod is an accurate semi and is perfect for yote hunting and as accurate as my AR stock was out of the box with factory ammo.

I'm sure it will do better than Tuesday's 1 5/8" group with some handloading but with that accuracy using factory ammo it is fine without handloading at least for coyotes.

Well, accuracy was poor, But I had major reliability issues and I see the new generation XCR's have not solved the problems entirely. It may have been built with military use in mind, but it was never adopted by any

Got mikethebike's package today, :) I have a range trip booked for Monday morning. Already called in sick for work... lol... 3 new guns and 2 new optics to play with, :)

Hey guys, Im out of .223 and picking up 2 crates of PMC from CanAm on the 26th. would the green tips be a good choice for ACR and Tavor ? or should I stick to the 55grn.

I have always like PMC green tip, but admittedly I have not tried 55gr PMC. I have put a couple hundred rounds of PMC green tip through my ACR and it works well.

Well just got back from the range, And I was quite disappointed with the ACR. Hopefully the PRS stock and a scope will turn it into something more useful.

The only way this rifle would be fun for shooting drills is with a 14.5 or shorter barrel.
